Midway International Airport has approximately 237 daily direct flights to 63 U.S. cities and approximately 10 daily direct flights to 9 international destinations, as of November 2013.
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers both train and bus service in the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The trains in Chicago are well known as the "L," and the Orange Line trains are the easiest and most affordable way to get to Midway International Airport from downtown via public transit.
The Orange Line train service operates from approximately 4-4:30 a.m. to approximately 1:00 a.m. every day with more frequent service during weekday morning and evening rush hours. Alternate overnight ("owl") service is available via the N62 Archer bus. Orange Line trains operate from Midway (on the soutwest side of Chicago) to downtown via elevated tracks. Once reaching downtown, trains travel clockwise around the Loop and make all stops back to Midway. The Orange Line connects to most other CTA train lines.
The normal travel time from Midway to downtown is 20-25 minutes.
Where is the Midway Orange Line station?
The fully-accessible station is located just east of the airport terminal building at the Midway Transportation Center and is connected to the airport via an enclosed walkway. Follow the signs in the airport that read "CTA Trains" or "Trains to City." An orange line painted on the ground will guide you to the station.
Can I transfer to a bus?
Yes, but you will need a Transit Card or an unlimited ride pass. Using a stored-value Transit Card, you can make up to two transfers within two hours for just 25 cents.
For a complete Midway CTA station timetable, please click here.
Specific fare information is available here.
Buses are a great public transportation option for those that are not coming or going along the CTA Orange Line. The CTA offers nine bus routes that serve Midway. Several Pace buses also operate to and from the airport.
CTA buses drop off and pick up at the Midway Transportation Center, the same location as the Midway CTA station.
You can find detailed CTA bus route information on the CTA's website.

Mission Statement: To provide the highest possible service to the Town of Schererville's departments and citizens through an emphasis on security, reliability, and support. We strive to uphold these principals through making use of the best technology, staying up to date with developments in implemented technology, and making our work as quick and non-invasive as possible to make sure that everything is running smoothly.
First, we are the ones the other departments call on when their technology hardware goes awry. In this respect, we act as a full service maintenance and repair facility for most of the computing hardware employed by the Town of Schererville.
Second, we also act as software maintainers for all technological assets in the Town of Schererville. This includes debugging problems with software, upgrading out of date software to current versions, and keeping our systems free of malicious software through a regiment of malware control programs, user access control, and minimal necessary permissions allowed.
Last, we are responsible for discovery and review of new technology with respect to how it may be used by the town to either benefit the citizens of the town or the departments serving the citizens. If a technology fits a specific role and level of accessibility, it is also our duty to implement this technology for the benefit of the intended audience.
The Information Technology Department is proud to be a department on which the other departments in the Town of Schererville can count on for prompt service as well as providing a place for the citizens of the Town of Schererville to check up on what is going on in the town through the new website.
From its start in 1989, The Schererville Parks and Recreation Department has striven to meet the needs of a growing community and its residents. Since then, it has developed into a department that operates and manages over 260 acres of land in 26 parks, including playgrounds, sports fields and courts, picnic shelters, and paved trails. Our vision is to continue to acquire, develop, and maintain parks and facilities for current and future generations to enjoy.
The Parks & Recreation Department has also grown from its initial offerings of summer youth programs to providing a variety of recreational and leisure activities throughout the year. We offer programs for the whole family and all age groups ranging from early childhood to senior activities. In addition to our numerous programs, the department sponsors and conducts special events for the community such as the Celebrate Schererville Festival, Movies in the Park, Country A-Fair, and many other seasonal celebrations.
We also assist and support community organizations by being the host site for their special events as well as providing and maintaining the home fields for the Schererville Soccer, Schererville Girls Softball, and Schererville Senior Babe Ruth organizations.
Overall, the numerous facilities, recreational programs and events provided by the Parks & Recreation Department contribute directly to the health and well-being of the entire community. We will continue striving to provide the benefits of quality leisure experiences for the public to enjoy. Please take the time to explore our website and discover what the Parks & Recreation Department has to offer. Remember, the Benefits are Endless!

It's easy to talk about excellence . But it's another thing altogether to truly commit yourself to it each and every day. To live it. To inspire it in everything around you. At Trine University, this commitment to excellence has formed the bedrock of our experience for well over a century. You'll see it, and you'll feel it, the second you step on our beautiful, 450-acre campus in Angola, Indiana.
From our programs , to our faculty, to our facilities, to the positive impact our work has on communities everywhere, we set our standards at Trine just a little higher. We can't help it. It's who we are. It's why U.S. News & World Report and the Princeton Review consistently rank us among the Midwest's best universities, and it's why more than 1,900 companies around the world seek out our graduates.
In the last decade alone, we've spent more than $75 million on renovations and new facilities across our campus. Whether it's the addition of a new, state-of-the-art biomedical engineering building; a football stadium that would make any private college in the country proud; unparalleled apartment-style campus housing; or renovations to performing arts, business, education, and dozens of other facilities; the Trine campus is, in a word, exceptional.
Innovation is in our DNA at Trine. It always has been. In fact, the modern-day golf ball was patented by a Trine graduate. Our students enjoy an active and engaging learning experience, winning national awards for the hands-on work they accomplish. We've invested more than $8 million in the Division of Innovation and Technology. And we recently unveiled a new, high-tech Project Based Learning Center for Excellence.
